Hello! My name is Kari Hoffman. I moved to Texas seven years ago from Atlanta, Georgia. This is my seventh year teaching at Plain Elementary, and my 25th year teaching overall. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling (I have been to 47 states and it's my goal to make it to all 50!). I also love being outside. Hiking, running, and skiing are some of my favorite activities. I grew up in Michigan, and make it back a few times a year to see my family. Most importantly, I have a wonderful son named Daxton who is 5 years old, and a loving fiance' named Scott who is also an employee for Leander ISD. I am so excited that Daxton will be in Kindergarten at JPE this year!

I welcome parents into my classroom, and believe communication between home and school leads to a successful school year. The best way to reach me is through e-mail.

This year I am teaching Math. I will be teaming with Ms. Bowman who is teaching Language Arts and Mrs. Erdley who is teaching Science and Social Studies.
