WOW! The 2025-2026 school year will be my 25th year of teaching. Twenty-four of those years have been right here teaching Texas History in LISD (15 years at HMS and 9 at LMS). I graduated from Texas Tech University with degrees in History and English. I am a die hard Red Raider fan, and I live for football season! I am married to a football coach right here at LMS (he's awesome), and we have twin daughters who are graduates of LMS and Glenn High School (they're awesome too). They officially made us empty nesters last year, as they head! I love learning and teaching history. I will consider the year to be a huge success if my students leave my class with a love of history! GO TIGERS!!!

Coach Kristie CarrollMy name is Kristie Carroll. I am a product of LISD! I truly enjoy teaching Texas History as it has some of the best stories of all states histories. I'm also a proud LMS coach. I coach girls basketball and co-ed track. I believe a strong key to learning is engagement and enjoyment. I graduated from Cedar Park High School and received my undergrad at the University of Texas at San Antonio. This is my 16th year teaching! I am excited for another wonderful year!!
