About Me

This is my 21st year teaching and my 14th year with Leander ISD. I previously taught at Wiley MS (Leander ISD), Cedar Park MS (Leander ISD), Forbes MS (Georgetown ISD), and Rockdale JH and HS (Rockdale ISD). I grew up in Temple, TX, and graduated from Temple HS. I began my bachelor's studies in music education at Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, OK then transferred to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX where I received a Bachelor of Music. In August of 2021, I received my Master's in Education with Principal Certification.

I love to sing, dance, and read historical fiction. I have performed in and vocal directed several musicals at The Palace Theater in Georgetown, TX. Some of the musicals I have been a part of include: Oklahoma as Ado Annie, Beauty and the Beast as Belle and a "Silly Girl," and Anything Goes as Hope Harcourt. I have also been an instructor at the Georgetown Palace Theater for the summer Children's Workshops.

Please email or call me if you have any questions throughout the year.
