    • • The Russian troika is a fast-moving circle dance in which dancers are grouped into threes. Each trio symbolizes the three horses that gallop abreast as they pull a Russian sleigh across the snow.

      • Troika (TROY-kuh) denotes a Russian vehicle drawn by a team of three horses abreast. This basic and unsophisticated dance has long been a familiar one with traditional folk dancers. The zest of Russian music and dance provides an opportunity for fun and exercise.
