About Me

I am super excited to be at Leander High School another year!!! Thank you for entrusting me with your precious gift(s).

A little about myself, I am originally from Louisiana but Texas has been my home for the past twenty-two years. My husband along with our three children have lived in Killeen, TX., for twenty years. While living in Killeen I fell in love with cosmetology and attended the College of Cosmetology in Killeen. While at the College of Cosmetology I earned my Operator and Instructor license.  After graduating I had the pleasure of working for two years as a hairstylist; hourly plus commission, commission base, and independent contractor stylist. 

In 2008 I was offered my first teaching job and have loved teaching ever since!!! I have taught for corporation schools such as Regency Beauty Institute, as well as Baldwin Beauty School, a private school, and now at Leander High School. Teaching in a high school has been my dream since I started this journey.
