    I graduated Lancaster High School in 1984. I finished York Technical College in 1986. I was hired at York Tech as an Electronics Technician.  I completed my education classes at Clemson and worked at York Tech as an Industrial Electricity Instructor for 11 years.  I came to Lancaster County Career Center in 1997 as the Electricity Instructor. In 2018 The School District decided to transition the Electricity program to Mechatronics. 

     I am a life long learner. I continue to learn and try new methods of teaching. My philosophy towards learning is repetition. All students learn at different levels and speeds.  It takes more that one time to become proficient. Theory is just as important as hands on experience.  If a technician can analyze a problem before he starts he saves himself and his employer a lot of time and money.  I believe the outlook in this job market for students with these skills are high demand.
