Reading Interventionist:   Deborah Cole

 I am the Reading Interventionist at North.  I earned my Masters Degree in Language and Literacy from the University of South Carolina.  My National Board Certification is in Early and Middle Childhood/Literacy: Reading-Language Arts.  In 2020/2021, I attended Winthrop University and completed the state certification requirements to teach English as a Second Language.  This is my 16th year at North.  I have 27 years of teaching experience including my Florida and Georgia years. 

Mrs. Shelly Roach works along side of me providing a smaller student teacher ratio. Mrs. Roach has been with our North Family for three years.  We are excited to have Shelly join our reading intervention program, K.I.T.E.
