          Hi! My name is Brittany McManus.  I am the principal at Brooklyn Springs Elementary School.  This is my sixth year at BSE where I served as the assistant principal for three years before my principalship.  This school is most certainly my happy place.  I love our children, families, and staff so very much.  I truly believe that there is no better place to be than right here with this amazing group of people.  We work hard. We play hard.  We laugh too loudly, but most important of all, we each love learning together every day!

          This is my sixteenth year in education, and I have spent most of my time in the fields of Math and Science, my first true love!  I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina Upstate and my Master of Education Degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix.  

        I live in the Heath Springs area with my husband and our two children.  I enjoy traveling with my family as much as possible, and the beach is one of our favorite places to go on vacation.
