- Note: Prior to the shutdown, I conducted one on one conferences with 8th graders as they visited the library. The questions we discussed were those outline above as well as a discussion about the books they were currently reading. All of those notes remain at school, unaccessible to me because of the school closure. I interviewed approximately 100 students before the shutdown, and another 61 have responded to the online survey since the closure.
