Welcome to the Student Council
If you have any problems in the school, there are several points of contact available to you:
Your Form Tutor - Your form tutor is there to support you throughout your career at Lawrence Sheriff, if you need to ask them something, just say and they will do their best to help you.
Your Head Of House/Year - If you have a problem that requires the attention of your head of house/year, then talk to them.
Reporting incidents of 'unkind behaviour' or 'bullying'
We would strongly encourage all students to report any incidents to your teacher, form tutor,
or if it occurs during lunch or break time, then to the member of staff on duty, straight away..
If you do not feel able to report an incident directly to a member of staff, then you can now email your concern to:
report2headofhouse@lawrencesheriffschool.com.
All emails will be monitored by Heads of House and must be sent from your school email address and should include
your year group and house.
Heads of House
Individual Teachers (If the issue is lesson specific) - If you have a problem within a lesson, such as not understanding the work, etc. then talking to your teacher is often the most beneficial action to take is to have a chat with your teacher either at break/lunchtime or at the END of the lesson.
Your Form Student Council Rep. - Your form Rep is there to help you, if you need help finding somewhere in the school, it is likely that your form rep will know where it is, or if you have something you wish to bring up in student council, talk to them. Alternatively, you can e-mail him or use the 'Contact Us' page on this site!
The Pastoral Team - The pastoral team is there if you are hurt, or if you are being bullied, if there has been a recent bereavement in your family, if you are having issues at home, you can talk to them if you feel you are struggling academically, if you have emotional/health issues, or even if you are having relationship problems. Feel free to speak to them, they are above the main school office.
