Google Classroom
Homework is checked in the classroom. However, if you are given permission under certain circumstances to submit pictures of your completed assignment, you can submit pictures of your completed homework from your iPhone or android phone by installing the Google Classroom App from the Apple App Store for the iPhone and from Google Play for the android phone. From the Google Classroom App, you can go into Google Classroom assignment and submit pictures taken from your phone. Watch the video here that shows using Google Classroom on my iPhone.
To view comments left by your teacher on the images you submitted for homework or a test or quiz, please follow the instructions in this document.
Google Meet
If you are having issues hearing sound while in a Google Meet/Hangout, you have Google Meet call your phone so that you can hear the sound on your phone. See this Google Doc for how to use your phone on a Google Meet.

Online access to Singapore Math Textbooks
To get to the website that has the textbooks, extra practice workbooks, re-teach workbooks, and other resources, the student should go to the following URL: https://my.hrw.com
A login page should pop up that looks like this:
The student should type in their LASDk8.org email address for "Username"
The student then types in the password that they use for that LASDk8 account into "Password". (This is the information that can be found in their planner that was given out the first day of school as a sticker/label.)
Note: The student should NOT click the "Register" button since the students are already registered by the district.
Once logged in, the student can then access the textbook from any computer by first selecting Student Resources shown below. Image TBD
To select the 7th grade (green) book, select Math in Focus Course 2 from the Resources pulldown menu as shown below. To select the 8th grade (purple) book, select Math in Focus, Course 3 from the Resources pulldown menu. Image TBD.
