Algebra 2A

Algebra 2A is a full year course that covers chapters 1 through 6 of the Algebra 2 textbook. Therefore, the class has about half the pace of regular Algebra 2. This slower pace helps students who may struggle with math learn the concepts of Algebra 2. Topics covered include equations and inequalities, linear relations and functions, and systems of equations and inequalities. We may also begin quadratic functions. Students will earn a credit in Algebra 2, but will be required to take Algebra 2B the following school year. We will make extensive use of graphing calculators throughout the course.
