FRC Team 7064:
HEY THERE AND WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE FOR TEAM 7064.
Lansing Lions Voltron Robotics club began in the fall of 2017. When we started we had no idea what we would do or what our club would look like. The only thing our school provided was a teacher sponsor, a chemistry lab to work in, and emotional support. We began with small Arduino robots, we learned simple construct of a robot, how to wire the circuit boards and how it connected to simple functions, and we learned a bit of simple programming. Around the time of the First Robotics Competition we were able to build a large block of metal that could move our program had tons of holes, thanks to other FRC players we were able to fix them and really start going. By the end we where only two or three places from last, but like an FRC staff member had said we may not have won but in the same sense we won more than anyone else. We had passed the tests of our limits and pushed forward eventually creating a fully functional robot fit for competition and even though the competition was already over we could not be prouder of our selves. Now we are ready for the next competition to come, and the next, and so on we will give it our all and once again gain the experience of a lifetime. Big thanks to NASA and all the groups that sponsor us, and to all the other FRC teams for being so open to us.
Update - July 2023 - We are looking forward to getting back in the Robotics shop this fall!
