This page has links for parents of the members of our cast. Please read the information below before you ask questions.
Students involved in the musical owe fees for 3 specific things:
Participation fees - $20 (or less) owed to the school for participating in any extracurricular. Only students in High School are required to pay this fee. (These may be eliminated or reduced if you receive free or reduced lunches.)
T-shirt fee - This is an optional $15 fee if your student would like to get a t-shirt that we order for the cast.
Production fee - We have to rent the costumes for the musical and cover numerous other expenses. We cover much of this cost but ask that students pay a $75 fee, which covers the rental of one of their costumes as well as other costs related to the show. (Most have several costumes that they use during the show.)
We do not want you to pay these fees outright. If you or your student sell ads for our program, we get increased revenue for our show, and you can eliminate all fees for yourselves. The way this works is that you receive 50 cents of credit toward fees for every dollar that your student sells in ads.
Sell $150 in ads, and your student will owe nothing for their production fee.
Sell $180 in ads, and your student will owe nothing for their production fee or their t-shirt fee.
Sell more than that, and we will pay their participation fee as well! It is a win for both of us because you pay less money, and we have more money at our disposal to use on the musical.
All checks can be made out to Lake High School.
