2015 LPMB Orlando

The 2015 Lake Park Lancer Marching Band will be traveling to Orlando, Florida!

We will visit Universal Studios and perform at Walt Disney World on NEW YEARS EVE! The trip is scheduled for December 27 through January 2.

Highlights include:

* Parade performance on New Year’s Eve

*You’re Instrumental Educational Clinic and Recording Session

*Attendance at various park shows and performances, including Fantasmic

*Visit Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, & Animal Kingdom

*Visit Universal Studios - including the Wizarding World of Harry Potter

*Fireworks and New Year’s Eve Countdown in Disney park

All members of the 2015 Lancer Marching Band will be eligible to travel and perform in Orlando. The Lancer Marching Band is an all-volunteer, extra-curricular program of Lake Park High School. We are excited to be performing at Disney World in 2015…one of the greatest stages in the world! If you are new to Lake Park or have not participated in marching band before, the 2015 season will be an exciting one and we want YOU to be a part of it. We are the 2014 State of Illinois Class 6A Champion, and have a long tradition of excellence.

The tentative costs/inclusions and itinerary are attached for your reference. There will be a deposit of $200 due in early May, with additional payments through the summer and fall.

We will also have family “fan” packages available through Bob Rogers Travel, so you can make a family vacation out of cheering on the Lancer Marching Band! Family members are more than welcome to spend time with the band during our recreation time at the parks each day. J

Full details will be shared at the Marching Band Organizational Meeting on Monday, April 20 @ 7:00 PM (West Campus Auditorium).

More information to come, but I wanted to share this exciting announcement ASAP. This is an optional (and outstanding) trip. Pricing is based on the number of participants. Student prices will be based on “quad” occupancy (4 per room).
