Head Coach - Brandon Coats

Brandon Coates is in his first year as head wrestling coach at La Junta High School. He has been involved with the high school and Jr high wrestling programs since 2006-07 as an assistant coach. Coach Coates grew up in La Junta and was active in cross country and wrestling becoming a state qualifier three times in cross country and two times in wrestling including a 3rd place finish his senior year. He spent four years as a cryptologist in the United States Navy before returning to La Junta and coaching. He and his wife Renee have four children: Trinity, Bianca, Acynn and Emberly.
