Sandee Yeates

Licensed School Counselor

Class of 2022

and Class of 2024

I am Sandee Yeates, the counselor for the graduating classes of 2022 and 2024. I began my career in education teaching Geography in middle school and then high school English for eight years before becoming a school counselor; this is my sixth year as a counselor. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences and an English endorsement from Northwest Nazarene University, a Master of Arts in Literacy from Boise State University and a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of the Southwest.

I enjoy working with high school students to help them become productive and responsible members of society. I love helping students with academic planning as well as social and emotional development and support.

The counseling team at La Grande High School is here to help students thrive in a safe learning environment.
