Outline Biography

Soran is currently working as a lecturer in security of computer networks in software engineering department at Koya university. He joined Koya university as a teaching staff from 2006 when he firstly started giving lectures for 2006-2007 academic year. Before joining Koya university Soran was working as engineer at the ministry of electricity where he started his first professional career in 2001. He got his B.Sc degree in mechanical engineering from the college of engineering of Salahaddin university in Erbil, MS.c in computer science from Koya university and finally his Ph.D degree in information technology at University of Paris sud 11 in France where he was also worked as lecturer during his Ph.D. studies.

Research Interests

Soran's research interest includes the following fields;

1-security of mobile networks

2-green communication networking

3-security of cloud computing
