Outline Biography

My name is Mohammed Owaid Alkazragy. After finishing my BSc. Degree in Civil Engineering in 1991from the University of Technology in Baghdad, I worked as a site engineer for about 6 years in various construction projects at various governmental establishments. In 1997 I joined the postgraduate study in water resources engineering at the University of Technology, whereby I obtained the MSc. Degree in water resources engineering in 2000, I worked as a senior engineer in the General Company of Implementation of Water Projects Which is directed by the Presidency of Ministers Council. The job of that company was to design and construct Rasafa Water Treatment Plant which was the largest proposed plant in the region at that time.

In addition to that, I joined the Ph.D. post graduate study in water resources engineering at the same University in 2000. In 2005, I was awarded the Ph.D. Degree and worked as an assistant head engineer in the Ministry of Housing and Construction, after that I was appointed as a University lecturer in 2006; whereby I joined the teaching staff at the University of Koya/ college of Engineering- Kurdistan region. I taught several courses in the college in addition to supervision of senior year projects. Recently, I hold the position of the head of Civil Engineering Department at Koya University.
