Mohammed is an Associate teacher of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics in the Department of Medical microbiology science, where he joined the work at Koya University since 2013.

He gained a B.Sc. degree in Biotechnology science from Al-Nahrain University in 2008, M.Sc. degree in Bioinformatics from Baharati University, India in 2012.
