The poet’s Profile:

· Hawzhen Slewa Issa was born in the ( Harmota) village in ( Koya )Town - Kurdistan in (1979)

· 2004 : got (AB) Certificate in Kurdish Language and Literature.

· 2008 : Got Master of Arts (MA) in Kurdish Literature.

· 2010 : Awarded the first prize of Galawezh Literary Festival .

· 2012 : Obtained PhD in Kurdish Literature.

· He was the editor of ( Hangawi nwe) ; a Kurdish newspaper.

· He is one of the editors of the ( Kakon Magazine) in Kurdish Language.

· He is a member of:

1. The Kurdistan Press Syndicate.

2. The Kurdish Writers’ Union.

3. Galawezh Cultural Centre.

· ( From Autumn to Spring) is his first collection of poems published in 2007.

· ( The Structure of the Artistic Images of the Sherko Bekas’s poetry) is one of his literary researches, published in 2009.

· ( Sister Nasemow) is a collection of Syriac Stories ( translation) ,2012.

· 2012 , He was awarded the prize of the Kurdish National Festival for Kurdish Poetry in Hawler.
