Outline Biography

Amera is a lecturer in the Department of physics, where she joined the work at Koya University since 2012. Before that she was an Associate Lecturer at The University of Baghdad, where she was a lecturer in the physics department (1993-2011) ).

She gained a B.Sc. degree in physics sciences from Baghdad University in 1989, M.Sc. degree in materials science from Baghdad University in 2009.

She started her academic teaching in 1989 when she joined the work at Baghdad University in the department of computers in the college of agriculture. In 1993-1999 she joined the college of science/physics department, Baghdad university, as assistance, then return back to college of science/physics department, Baghdad university in 2005-2011.

Research Interests

1. Mechanical Properties of polymers

2. Electrical properties of polymers.

3. Optical properties of polymers.
