Outline Biography

Abdulkader is a Assistant Professor of Structural Engineering in the Department of Geotechnical Engineering, where he joined the work at koya University since 2004. Before that he was an in University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq.

He gained a B.Sc. degree in Building & Construction Engineering from University of Technology in 1998, M.Sc. degree in Structural Engineering from University of Technology in 2001, and a Ph.D. degree in Structural Engineering from University of Technology in 2008.

He started his academic teaching in 2004 when he joined the work at the College of Engineering , Koya, Iraq as an Assistant Lecturer in the department of Architectural Engineering. In (2009 to 2011), he is heading the Department of Architectural Engineering at Koya University, and later he became the Director of Engineering Consulting Bureau from (2011-2012) , and became the head of Geotechnical Engineering Department from (2013- 2017).In March 2018 he was a member in Engineering Consulting Bureau.

Research Interests

Abdulkader`s research interest includes the following fields:

1. Concrete Structures.

2. Ferrocement Structures.

3. Steel Structures.

4. Fiber Concrete Structures.
