Welcome to my web page! Thanks for stopping by. Here is a little more information about me...
I grew up in Moorhead, MN, and graduated from Moorhead Senior High. Go Spuds!! I spent my first two years of college at the University of Minnesota - Duluth. My junior year I transferred to Minnesota State University Moorhead and graduated with a degree in Social Studies Education in 2003. Upon graduation I relocated to the Drayton, ND area. I married my husband, Gary, in February 2006. I substitute taught everywhere within 60 miles of my home for the next six years until I had my first son, Trapper, in October, 2008. After he was born I chose to stay home and care for him full time. My son Hawken followed in December, 2010, and then my daughter Aurora in March, 2014.
I coached junior high volleyball for Kittson County Central for eight seasons. In the spring of 2013 an opportunity to teach Social Studies at Kittson Central presented itself and I jumped at the opportunity! I was so excited to finally be able to teach at the school I had been coaching at for so long.
I am now in my eighth year of teaching at Kittson Central, and am loving every minute! I tell people that I feel like I won the job lottery!! The staff and students at Kittson Central are top of the line, and I am proud to be a part of this wonderful school.
