About Mrs. Casey

Thanks for dropping by.  Here's a little about me...

I have been teaching at Shapleigh School for 23 years!  Time flies when you're having fun!  The first 8 years at Shapleigh I was a homeroom teacher in the 6th, 7th and 8th grade (not all at once!) and taught Language Arts, Reading and Social Studies. After that, I switched into the role of Literacy Coach for the school, and worked with 4th - 8th graders for the next 10 years.  I am now very excited to be back in the classroom as a 6th grade social studies teacher!  I enjoyed my time as a literacy coach, but I really missed being a homeroom teacher and working with a team!
