There are five teachers in our team. We meet regularly to discuss curriculum, teaching methods, questions the extent and depth of tests and examinations, and organize science activities.
Form 1 to 3 students use textbook from Aristo. For preparing for linking with high level science cources, Class A and B students have to learn Science in English in order to initiate students to learn more about the content of science subjects in English. In addition, junior form students learn Science through self-regulated learning. In the lessons, teachers write some English notes so that students are more adapted to science sentences and vocabulary by using English.
In addition to strengthening English teaching, as a Science teacher, we understand the importance of enhancing students' interest in studying Science by doing the experiment. Apart from the textbook experiment, subject teachers often take courses for enhancing teaching skills and finding some interesting and instructive experiments to the students practice.
Science Project Competition and project-based learning are held annually to enhance creativity, collaboration and communication skills of students.
Besides, students are also encouraged to read extra science books in their leisure time. Students have to submit a book report each year to strengthen students' reading habit and interest in learning science.
