Welcome to Mrs. Langford's Class!

Welcome to our Life Skills website. My name is Sandy Langford and I will be your child's' Teacher. I have been with KIS for 17 years. I have awesome team to assist me all day! This is a classroom in which students can experience success in an environment that enables them to develop skills necessary to deal effectively with challenges and demands of everyday life. The students are involved in activities centered around a grade level curriculum modified to meet the requirements of their individualized education plan (IEP). We assist in developing self awareness, more effective communication, strengthened problem solving and decision making skills. With the assistance of three very talented paraprofessionals, we strive everyday to make each child feel happy, safe and great about who they are and the person they aspire to be.
