In Architectural Drafting 1 the students will demonstrate knowledge and skills of the process of design as it applies to engineering fields using the AutoCad software to present working drawings and protypes the 1st semester. The 2nd semester the students will explore the world of Architecture by drawing a simple floor plan and elevations.

In Architectural Drafting 2 the student will draw floor plans, elevations & perspectives of a house using the AutoCad program. We also discuss electrical & plumbing that goes into the floor plan.

In the Architectural Drafting 3 class the students will do the same as the 2 year design class plus they will do actual plans of the buildings on the KHS campus for the school & build a scale model of a structure.

In the Welding 1 class students will develop knowledge and skills related to welding and apply them to personal career development. The students will learn to stick weld, mig weld and use the oxy/acetylene cutting torch.
