About Me

I was born and raised in Oklahoma and graduated from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK with a Bachelor of Science Degree with an emphasis in Marketing and a minor in Finance. After graduating from NSU, I acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. My husband, a Kilgore graduate, made a Texan out of me in 1995 when we moved to Kilgore. I have been teaching with KISD since 1996 and have been teaching Investigating Careers since 2000. My husband, Vic Williams, is a Financial Advisor at Gibson Wealth Management in Tyler, Texas. We have three children; Seth, Elijah and Carter. All are graduates of Kilgore High School. Carter is a Sophomore, majoring in Allied Health at Texas A&M. She graduated KHS in 2021 where she served as Captain of the Hi-Steppers. Elijah is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University, Class of 2022. He is currently a manager at Barkeeps, a restaurant in Nacogdoches. Seth is a graduate of Texas A&M, UTMB in Galveston and is currently is a 2 year Resident of Psychiatry at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
