This is my 35th year of teaching and my 22nd year to teach kindergarten. I earned my BS in Horticulture from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and my Master of Education from The University of Mary Washington. I have previously taught preschool. My husband and I live in Westmoreland County. Our oldest daughter, Jessie (also a Hokie), lives in Stafford, VA. Our youngest daughter, Whitney, a University of Mary Washington Eagle, lives in Illinois with her Navy husband. We have 4 grandchildren, Angel, Kara, Willa and Laurel! I love teaching kindergarten!
