During the school year, tests and quizzes will make up a large portion of the student's grade in AP US Government and Politics. After most chapters, students will take a chapter quiz. At the conclusion of an entire unit (comprised of several chapters) students will take a unit test.
In this class, students will have the opportunity to make corrections on the multiple-choice section of tests and quizzes. For each multiple-choice question a student corrects, he/she can earn 1 point back (m/c questions are worth 2 points). The corrections a student makes will require he/she to: 1) write the question # missed. 2) write the correct letter with the correct answer description. 3) write an explanation-citing the reason(s) for the correct answer. 4) write where the correct answer can be found (textbook with chapter and page #, class notes, and flashcards). Please see below to help you more clearly see how test/quiz corrections will be formatted throughout the year.
