About Me

Hi! My name is Janet Arvizu and I'm very excited to be starting my 10th year here at KES! Let me tell you a little about me.

I am 32 years old and I attended school from Pre-K through 12th grade here at KISD. I have two younger brothers who are 29 and 16 years old. I have a daughter who is five years old and a wonderful husband. We are a family that loves to travel and go on road trips whenever we can!   This will be my fifth year teaching Kindergarten. I've taught first grade in the past, as well as preschool at our local daycare. I've worked with children for most of my career. I love helping them learn and grow. My personal hobbies include arts and crafts, fitness and outside activities (hiking, kayaking, etc.), watching movies, and reading books. I am very excited to see what this year brings and I look forward to this school year!
