African Americans and the war. Read Winkler Chapter 3 and the two articles on African Americans and the war on the webpage below.

Week 5:

The War in Asia. read Weiberg chapters 5 & 6, Collingham part 1-3. Power point slides 45-51.

Watch Battlefield episode 'The Battle of Leyte Gulf' follow link below.

Week 6:

The Home Front

Read Collingham Part 3/15, and Winkler Chap 2. Also, look at the Power Point slides #24-29 and #52 - 59.

Week 7:

The end of the war. Finish all the readings and review the final Power Point slides.

End of the Semester:

Finish the research project and any other home work not turned in.
