Create your assignments in Google Classroom.
Sync to Alma.
All of your Google Classroom assignments will be pulled into your Alma class.
Edit each assignment in Alma to attach the power standards that are being assessed.
Save.
Once your students submit their assignments in Google Classroom, you will do the grading on the ALMA side of things!
Please note that assignment types in Alma should match with assignment topics in Classroom.
Log into Alma. Class attendance is accessed right from the dashboard.
2. Click "Mark all present" or, if students are missing, click "Take attendance" for the given class.
3. Mark students that are absent or late. You can also enter a note to provide context.
Click on the top right blue envelope icon "Message Class".
When you send a class message, you can choose to send it to ALL students or ALL parents, ALL students and parents, or select students and/or parents.
Click on the Incidents tab from the left-hand navigation bar, then select “add new”
2. Enter any necessary information surrounding the event. The only required field is “name/title.” Note that all other details can be updated at any time.
3. Click “next” and that’s it!
