Classroom Rules:

***Constant and/or severe disruption during a class could result in an immediate office referral.

Needed Supplies:

We will start working immediately (spirals will be used on Tuesday) but please have all other supplies by Wednesday, August 22nd.

All students will need:

* 1 package of 24 pencils

* 1 spiral

Class Period Specific:

3rd & 6^th – 4 Glue Sticks

2^nd – Hand Sanitizer

4^th & 7^th - Package Dry Erase Markers

5^th & 8^th – Box Kleenex

Homework

• Assigned homework is to be turned in on time.
• Homework will be assigned on Monday and it is due on Thursday. If we have a holiday and homework is not assigned until Tuesday, it will still be due on Thursday.
• Homework and daily activities will be available on the Google Classroom for students who must quarantine at home.
• We do not tolerate zeros. If an assignment is late, the highest grade a student may receive is a 85. Lunch detention will be assigned if an assignment is more than 2 days late.

Make up work:

1. The student has one day for every day absent to turn in make-up work. After that it will be considered late.
2. When the student returns to class they need to check the assignment folder for the assignment they missed, including any homework assignment.
3. If a student misses a test, they will need to schedule a make-up time outside of regular class time to take the test.

Corrections:

• Corrections are allowed on any graded paper for which the student is unsatisfied with the grade (for half credit per question).
• For corrections to be accepted, the student must show their work.
• Test corrections are only accepted if done during tutoring time. Tests will not be sent home.
• Corrections will only be accepted for 7 days after original grade is issued.

Tutorials:

· All students are encouraged to attend.

· Tutorials are available before school at 7:30 and after school until 4:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you need additional tutoring time, please make arrangements with me.
