Mrs. Chamberlain's Counseling Philosophy:
As a professional school counselor, I believe that all students have intrinsic worth and are worthy of respect and dignity. It is my belief that all students should have the ability to access to a comprehensive, developmental, and data-driven school counseling program that addresses their academic, career, personal, social and emotional development that is administered by a certificated professional school counselor. I believe that my role as a school counselor is to be an advocate for every student and celebrate their individuality and diversity. I believe that as school counselor, I am to assist students and their families in the navigation of their education and post high school plans. I believe that all students should have a strong foundation of coping skills to deal with issues and problems they will face in the future. I will consistently encourage all students to take the road less traveled by, to contribute their own verse, and to make their lives extraordinary.
