CLASS MOTTO: PREPÁRATE PARA EL MAÑANA INVERTIENDO EN TI MISMO HOY.
My exposure to Spanish began growing up in a bilingual household in Texas and continued in our travels to Colombia over the summers to visit family. However, it was not until high school that I actually received any formal education in Spanish.
Subsequently, I attended the University of Virginia where I received my Bachelors of Arts in Spanish and my Masters of Teaching in Education and Foreign Language. I earned a minor in Astronomy too for fun!
Besides teaching Spanish, I am also active in sports (especially soccer at AHS) and work with UVA Athletics as an instant replay technician for football and men's and women's basketball. Trying to keep up with all of this and my two sons, does not leave much time for anything else!
I look forward to sharing my experiences and teaching you Spanish, a language that has ever-increasing benefits both locally and globally.
