DEADLINE TO REGISTER AND PAY: January 16, 2026

Deadline is hard and we cannot accept late registrations. Thank you for understanding. Important note - after submitting your registration you will receive a confirmation of your submission from Google Forms. There will not be an additional verification email. School and login information will be emailed as described below.

LOGINS AND COURSE INFORMATION EMAILED BY SPOKANE: before the start of the course. CHECK YOUR SCHOOL EMAIL.

If you cannot find the email with login details on the first day of class, please reach out to BlackBoardHelp@spokaneschools.org. REMINDER: A Google Form email is the verification that Shoreline has received your registration information. SVL will send course and login information by the first day of class.

CLASS ACCESS: Logins should work by the first day of class.

Grades will be communicated directly to students and families via email after the summer semester ends and to your current school.

ORIENTATION/ONBOARDING: This welcome video is available for SVL students. This video will also be sent out in the Welcome email sent to all students.

BOTH PAYMENT AND ONLINE REGISTRATION MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE THE DEADLINE.

NO LATE REGISTRATIONS ARE ACCEPTED. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Step 1:

Contact both your counselor and principal and receive their approval to participate in SVL.

Take a screenshot of the approval or save the file to use in step 3.

Complete steps 2 and 3 before the deadline.

Obtaining approval or forwarding the email to SVL team DOES NOT automatically register the student.

Step 2:

Payment or Scholarships

Course cost can be found HERE.

PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE BEFORE THE DEADLINE.

PHONE PAYMENTS ARE AVAILABLE UNTIL 4 PM ON January 16, 2026.

You can contact our district cashier at 206-393-4101 Monday through Friday (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) or email - district.cashier@ssd412.org for alternative payment options.

For Payments in Full:

Pay (see screenshots below for help).
Save the receipt to use in step 3.
Complete step 3.

For Scholarships:

Complete step 1 and email your counselor to request a scholarship. The counselor's email must include the scholarship amount.

Take a screenshot of the approval email and use it as a receipt in step 3.

If you are receiving a partial scholarship, call District cashier 206.393.4101 to make a payment for the amount you owe.

Save the receipt.

You may upload the same receipt/proof of scholarship.

Registration is incomplete without STEP 3 even if the payment has been made or if registration has been submitted via email/mail/fax/in person, etc.

You will be prompted to upload:

1. Approval (step 1) - screenshot or file (must be one file)

2. Receipt or confirmation of scholarship (step 2)

Registration Confirmation:

You will immediately receive a summary of your responses sent by Google Forms for your records. This is verification of your submission.

- Logins are emailed the day before the class by Spokane Virtual Learning. (CHECK YOUR SPAM AND SCHOOL EMAIL)
- Logins are valid the day of the class and will not work before.
- If you cannot find the login email AFTER the first day of class and have a registration confirmation, please reach out to BlackBoardHelp@spokaneschools.org.
- If you cannot log in on the first day of class and have a registration confirmation, please reach out to BlackBoardHelp@spokaneschools.org.
- If you do not have a "Shoreline Virtual Learning Registration Confirmation", you are not registered.

Select student's name.
Select "Items at Student's School"
Look for "SVL Courses"

Students: If you have taken an SVL class in the past, please use the login credentials for this semester and NOT the ones you used in your previous class.
Weekly progress: Progress reports will be emailed out every Friday to help parents and students track students’ progress through their course. The emails to parents will go to the parent email address provided at registration.
Grades: Summer grades will be communicated directly to students and families via email after the summer semester ends and to your current school.

Instruction: Asynchronous. Weekly contact with SVL instructor is required.
There is no option to withdraw during the Summer semester and student grades appear on the transcript.
