10,000 Make Club
Cardinals Basketball 10,000 Make Club is a chance for you to improve your shooting skills over the Summer / Fall giving you a goal you can achieve. Record the number of shots made each week during the course of a 25 week period over the Summer / Fall is all it takes to become a member of the 10,000 make club.
That’s just 400 shots made a week, or less than 58 shots made a day. When you break it down it shouldn’t take you more than 20-30 minutes to make 58 shots a day or 2-3 hours a week to make 400 shots. So find a hoop in the backyard, neighborhood, city park, or school and get it done. You Can Do It!
In order to qualify for an award, the following criteria must be met.
• Record the number of made shots each week for 25 weeks.
• Starting Date June 1st & Ending Date November 1st.
• Have your parent(s) / guardian initial each week. .
It has often been said that teams are made during the season and players are made in the off season.
By working on your game this Summer / Fall and getting quality shots up on a daily basis you will improve your shooting and give yourself an advantage over your competition.

Finishing Moves (10 Shots of each of the following)
Alternate your starting spot between the elbow and the wing:
- Layups, right & left sides
- 2 Foot Jump Stop, right & left sides
- Step Through ( pivot) right & left sides
- Reverse Lay-up, right & left sides
- Post moves from the block, right & left sides
- Jab or stutter step, then explosive layup, right & left sides
- Mikan's, right & left sides - front or reverse
- 20 Free throws
