This book consists of lessons originally organized for an 8-day, 3-hour per day summer program. The lessons can be easily reordered and used to supplement a math curriculum during the school year. Many of the openers, games, explorations, and activities can be returned to again and again.

This curriculum is manipulative heavy! While many of the manipulatives are common, some are more specialized. Recommended manipulatives include Prime Climb, Cuisenaire Rods, Pattern Blocks, Square Tiles, Ten Frames, Snap Cubes, Dominoes, 2-color counters, Dice (6-sided and 10-sided)
