Middle School Classes

MIDDLE SCHOOL CLASSES

Teachers, counselors, and administrators carefully guide students with their recommendations for course placements. Students are advised to listen to this counsel and seriously consider the recommendations of these professionals. Students and parents ultimately have the responsibility to decide on an appropriate program of study. Once school begins, a student must have the recommendation of the current teacher of the course, his or her counselor, and parent to make a level course change.

7th Grade

  • World Geography 7

  • Science7

  • Pre-Algebra 1A or Pre-Algebra

  • Band or Vocal Experience  (students may choose to participate in both)

  • Phys Ed 7

  • Health 7

  • Art 7

  • Digital Media Arts 7

  • Computer Applications 7

  • World Language Exploratory (French and Spanish)

  • Guided Study (Prerequisite: Teacher or Counselor recommendation)

8th Grade

  • US History 8

  • Science 8

  • Pre-Algebra 1B or Algebra 1

  • Band or Vocal Experience (students may choose to participate in both)

  • Art 8

  • STEAM 8

  • Creative Suite 8

  • World Language (students can choose to take Spanish or French as a high school elective in 8th grade)

  • Guided Study (Pre-requisite: Teacher or Counselor recommendation)
