Homecoming Dance Tickets Now on Sale!

With great power comes great responsibility...and it is your responsibility to come to our annual Homecoming Dance! This year's theme is Spider-Man Homecoming! The dance will be on Saturday October 3rd from 8-11PM in the main gym here at JP. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased through Paysimple. Check out our Student Life Site for forms, payment, and more details!

Homecoming Is Better with Snacks!

Homecoming is almost here! Join us Friday, October 2 as our JP Wolves take the field for a night of football, school spirit, and fun. Our football concessions stand will be open, and we're looking for a few extra hands to help keep our fans fueled throughout the game! Concessions volunteers are especially needed, so if you can lend a hand, please sign up in Point. Can't make Homecoming? Check out the other upcoming sports events and find a shift that works for you!

And don't forget about our daily Wolf Den! If you're already on campus in the afternoon, consider volunteering for the 2:30–3:30 p.m. shift instead of waiting in the parking lot. It's a fun way to get to know students, spend some time around campus, and give students a little pick-me-up before homework and activities. Come help, grab some smiles, and be part of the fun! Homecoming Dance Snacks/Volunteers Needed!

Calling all JP parents/guardians! We need your help transforming our Homecoming Dance into the city that never sleeps by providing New York themed snacks! The students are hoping to re-create a real life New York city bodega right in our gym lobby and want to distribute Nathan's hot dogs just like you can get in NYC!

Family Association Meeting

Tuesday, October 6th at 7pm

Parents, please join us for the Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School Family Association Meeting on Tuesday, October 6th, from 7:00–8:30 PM in Aquinas Hall. Come share, suggest, and support areas such as spirituality, athletics, student life, admissions, fine arts, concessions, and staff/faculty appreciation. You’ll also learn more about our biggest upcoming events, including Golfing with Wolves, the JP5K, and the Gala. We hope to see you there!

ADULT BIOETHICS SEMINARS

We would like to once again invite you to participate in our six-week Adult Bioethics course in the evenings. These sessions give parents a snapshot of what your student is learning in our Bioethics classes. The Fall course will be taught by Sister Malia Grace and will cover the freshman Bioethics course, “The Human Person,” followed by the sophomore course, “Principles of Ethics” during the Spring. Classes will be held weekly on Tuesdays from September 8 - October 13 from 7:00-8:30pm in Aquinas Hall. This course is open to parents as well as others in the community, so please feel free to invite others. Participants can attend for all six weeks, or can drop in for topics that interest them. This year we will also offer two classes on "Beginning of Life Issues" with Dr. Andrew Kubick on September 22nd and October 6th, with two classes on “End of LIfe Issues” in the spring! RSVP here!
