There will be no school on Monday, February 16th. The school offices will be closed. \
Classes will resume Tuesday, February 17th (A Day).
Tuesday, February 24th - Two-Hour Delay Schedule
On Tuesday, February 24th we will be following a two-hour delay schedule for a faculty and staff professional development meeting.
Buses will follow their regular morning schedule and morning supervision will still open at 7:00am.
Classes will begin at 9:45am.

Course Selection Class Meetings
Priority meetings with students are being held at the end of February to go over the course selection process:
Juniors (rising seniors) class of 2027 will meet Monday, February 23rd in the auditorium at 7:45 A.M.
Sophomores (rising juniors) class of 2028 will meet Thursday, February 26th in the auditorium at 7:45 A.M.
Freshmen (rising sophomores) class of 2029 will meet Friday, February 27th in the auditorium at 7:45 A.M.
The course selection window will open on February 24th for rising seniors and March 2nd for rising sophomores and juniors. The course selection window will close on March 27th. Students should work with their current teachers and counselor on choosing their 2026-2027 classes. Students and parents, please take time to discuss courses and potential academic plans. Please reach out to the Assistant Principal of Academics or your counselor for guidance.

Our student orientation days officially begin the new school year! Please see the Orientation dates and first day of classes for the 2026-2027 school year below:
Wednesday, August 19th - Freshman Orientation
Thursday, August 20th - Sophomore & Junior Orientations
Friday, August 21st - Senior Orientation
Our first day of classes will be Monday, August 24th (All 8 classes).
Christmas Break:
Christmas Break begins Monday, December 21, 2026 and runs through Friday January 1, 2027. Classes will resume on Monday, January 4, 2027.
Easter Break:
Easter Break begins Thursday, March 25, 2027 (Holy Thursday) - Friday, April 2, 2027. Classes will resume on Monday, April 5, 2027.

Evening Bioethics Course
This semester our Bioethics Department is excited to offer the Sophomore course, "Principles of Ethics" during the evening. This Spring’s course will take place on Tuesday nights from 7:00-8:30 beginning on February 3, 2026.
The course is open to anyone, including those outside of the JP Community. While the topics do build upon one another, it is not absolutely necessary to commit to all sessions.
