JP the Great Day - Wednesday, October 22nd
JP the Great Day is right around the corner! It is a day to remember the purpose of education: to help us receive, grow, and rejoice in the gift of life that comes from God. Our society is very good at being practical, our struggle is in celebrating. To that effect, this celebration is a festival that focuses on Our Lord's presence in the Eucharist as we are "Pilgrims of Hope."
This is a school day, the schedule is a late start, attire is spirit-wear (with the new shirts they will receive on Tuesday). Can you please be certain students bring their water bottle to school as they will have time to run for activities!
You are always welcome to join us for Mass at 9:00am in the main Gym AND our Eucharistic Procession which begins around 2pm again in the main Gym.
The Family Association is looking for volunteers to help provide desserts and water bottles for lunch. Please click here to sign up! Thank you!
We would like to once again invite you to participate in our six-week Adult Bioethics course in the evenings. The Fall course will be taught by Sister Malia Grace and will cover the freshman Bioethics course, “The Human Person,” followed by the sophomore course, “Principles of Ethics” during the Spring.
Classes will be held weekly on Tuesdays from October 14-November 18 from 7:00-8:30pm in Aquinas Hall. This course is open to parents as well as others in the community, so please feel free to invite others. Participants can attend for all six weeks, or can drop in for topics that interest them. We look forward to seeing you on October 14 in Aquinas Hall!
Monday, October 27th
We are looking forward to parent-teacher conferences on Monday, October 27! This year, in an effort to facilitate more discussion, we have modified our schedule to include both daytime, evening, and virtual conference times. Please note, as we have modified our procedures, conferences will only take place on one day this year. Please check out the schedule and make plans to meet with your student’s teachers:
In-Person Conferences: 11:00am - 1pm
Virtual Conferences: 2:00pm - 3:30pm
In-Person Conferences: 5:45pm - 7:45pm
The JP Family Association is excited to host a Soup & Salad Dinner on Monday, October 27, to show our gratitude for our amazing teachers during Parent–Teacher Conferences. This special meal is a simple way for our community to say “thank you” for their dedication and care. Dinner will be ready by 4:30 PM, so teachers can take a break and have dinner before the evening conferences.
We’d love your help to make this dinner a success! You can sign up to bring soup, salad, bread, dessert, drinks, or other essentials—or volunteer to help with set-up or clean-up. Every contribution makes a difference, and together we can make our teachers feel appreciated and supported.
