Wishing you and your family a wonderful and safe Spring Break (March 25-29).
STAR Math Testing is scheduled to take place in September, January, and March.
Students have taken the STAR Math test and have received their scores. They should have those scores saved in a graph in their school Google Drive (for comparison with future test scores), as well as on a paper copy in the math section of their binder.
Grades are in PowerSchool! Make sure you are checking your scores and correcting anything you need to in order to get your grade where you want it. Some students are NOT following directions and it is really hurting their grades,
*Just a friendly reminder to reread your syllabus about what is expected in order to get credit for your redo work, including when it has to be completed.
Pre-Algebra Classes:
Geometry Block 2 The Pythagorean Theorem: We are using the slide shows and instructional videos that are posted in Google Classroom to take good focused notes. Students are able to use those notes and all of their assignments on the unit tests! Block 2 Test is scheduled for 04/17. All Block 2 materials are due by 3:00 pm on test day.
Khan Academy Course Mastery: students need 70% or better by 3/21 to earn full points for our monthly Khan Academy grade.
Algebra 1 Classes:
Block 4 Exponents & Volume: We are using the slide shows and instructional videos that are posted in Google Classroom to take good focused notes. Students are able to use those notes and all of their assignments on the unit tests! This test is scheduled for 03/20. All Block 4 materials are due by 3:00 pm on test day.
Khan Academy Course Mastery: students need 10% (of the Algebra 1 course) by 3/21 to earn full points for our monthly Khan Academy grade.
