My name is Jiana Carroll and I am a proud alumni of Ralston Valley.  I grew up in the Arvada area and graduated from Ralston Valley in 2012.  I have worked at Ralston Valley for almost 11 years teaching Spanish.  I feel very lucky to have grown up in this community and now work with so many awesome students at RV.

This is my fifth year coaching boys golf, and I have been an assistant coach for girls golf for the past two years.  I am looking forward to another great season for our team!

I am a huge Yankees fan and I am on the mission to see every ballpark the MLB has to offer.  I enjoy spending time with my husband Tom, especially out playing golf, or going to football and baseball games.  

Ralston Valley is a special place to me, and I am grateful to coach and teach there.

Hello, Ralston Valley Golf Team Community. My name is Jeff Wasinger but most people know me as “Coach Wass.”  Please allow me to introduce myself as the Head Boys’ Golf Coach and include a short coaching biography from a long coaching career.  

I began coaching in Jeffco in the spring of 1983 as the Head Boys’ Track Coach at Golden High School. I later moved to Arvada High School in 1986 and served as both Head and Assistant Coach for the following sports: Head Track Coach Boys & Girls (1986-2013), Assistant Football Coach (1986-1994), Assistant Basketball Coach Boys’ & Girls’ (1986-2004), Head Cross Country Coach Boys’ & Girls’ (1995-1997), Head Golf Coach Boys & Girls (1998-2015). I also served as an interim Tennis Coach Boys’ & Girls’ at various times while at Arvada. 

I began coaching at Ralston Valley as an Assistant Boys’ Basketball Coach in 2009 and became the Head Boys’ Golf Coach in 2015. I began assisting with the Girls’ Golf team that following spring. 

On a personal note, I am married to my “Favorite Golfing Partner” Chrissy.  She was also an excellent multi sport coach in Jeffco during her career. We have two children both of which are Ralston Valley Graduates and former athletes;  Tiana 2007 (Volleyball, Tennis & Track) & Robert 2010 (Football & Track). 

I am very proud to be a member of the Ralston Valley Mustangs Community and Golf Coach as well. I look forward to meeting many of you at some point during your time at RV.
