A little about the teacher:

My name is Amy Weisheit and I have been teaching at Pomona for 18 years and am starting my 19th year.  The World Language curriculum at Pomona focuses on incorporating the National Standards for Foreign Language which means that the activities will focus on improving your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in the target language using the Interpretive Mode (receiving input), Interpersonal Mode (communication between people), and the Presentational Mode (providing output to one or more people in various methods).  There is also a focus on culture through various activities that work in conjunction with the standards.

Should you have questions or concerns at any time during the year, please do not hesitate to contact me via phone or e-mail.
