FRESHMAN CLASS ELECTIONS (CLASS OF 2024) FOR SPRING 2021:
Are you interested in making this year memorable through unique events and activities? Join Student Government for the spring semester! In order to apply, check out these links for the election form and teacher recommendation forms. You will have to complete these forms by Monday, November 9th and complete an interview in order to be considered. We hope you apply!! Please open up thIS form for the packet! Please ¨sign¨ the election contract, fill out the class schedule & GPA information, complete the short answer questions, and submit it to Ms. Sullivan. Please complete the form by Monday, November 9th. Then please sign up for an interview slot for next week through the link inside the Google Form. Please also remember to send the link to the Google Teacher Recommendation Form to at least FOUR teachers to complete for you. The link to the Teacher Recommendation Form can be found here.

FRISBEE GOLF TOURNAMENT - Tuesday, October 13th
The first ever Dakota Ridge Frisbee Golf Tournament will be help on Tuesday, October 13th at Fehringer Ranch Park. In order to sign up, you must complete this Google Form and pay the $5 entry fee per person; you will pay in cash with exact change when you arrive at the park. Once signed up, you will be given a tee time so you will know when to arrive, along with other details about the tournament. VIRTUAL TALENT SHOW - Auditions are RIGHT NOW!!
Got talent, Eagles? If you were considering auditioning for Dakota Ridge’s first ever virtual talent show, there is still time! The due date for audition videos is Wednesday, October 14th. Please fill in all info on this Google form! Be sure to complete the entire form! Get recording! You will answer the questions on the form and then digitally sign it (just put your name there). You will then submit your audition videos though FlipGrid.com by joining with the code provided (Flip Grid Code: c5cfbd3e). Please limit video submissions to FOUR minutes or under! A callback is not guaranteed, as slots are limited. Thank you all and good luck! Winter Dance - Saturday, February 8, 2020
Come join us for An Evening in Athens at Baldoria on the Water in Lakewood! The dance will be from 7:00 -10:00 p.m. Baldoria on the Water is located at 146 Van Gordon St, Lakewood 80228. Tickets will be on sale all week in the Finance Window before and after school and at lunches. Tickets are $15 presale and $20 at the door. Cash only at the door, but cash or credit at school during the week. No jeans or hats will be allowed at the dance; it is a semi-formal event. Please remember your ID and show your ID at the door when you arrive. Guests must turn in their ID to the front table when they arrive as the guest policy and pick it up when they leave. Guests must be at least in high school and may not be older than 20 years old. Only ONE guest per Dakota student allowed! THINK PINK - FRIDAY, JANUARY 17, 2020
Our Annual Think Pink Basketball Doubleheader will be on Friday, January 17th with the girls' game at 5:30 and the boys' game at 7:30. We will be honoring Breast Cancer fighters and survivors with a halftime ceremony during the boys' game, so please email Keary Sullivan at Keary.Sullivan@jeffco.k12.co.us if you can attend this ceremony as an honoree. We would need you to be at Dakota Ridge by approximately 7:00/7:15 p.m. Please also email Keary Sullivan if you have any names of people who should be added to the Wall of Honor. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Student Government Auxiliary Syllabus - 2019-2020
If you are joining Student Government Auxiliary for this school year, please attend one of the informational meetings (Tuesday, 8/24 at 7:15 a.m. or 2:45 p.m. or Wednesday, 8/25 at 7:45 a.m. or 2:45 p.m.) and complete this Google Syllabus Acknowledgement Form by Friday, 8/30!! This is a commitment, but it is a fun group to be a part of...AND you get Leadership credit on your transcript, a free Homecoming Dance ticket, a free Winter Dance ticket, and a discounted Prom ticket (if you are a junior or senior). We want you to be a part of Student Government, and this is a way to be involved, meet people, and help your school, even if you couldn't fit into the 8th block class!! Please come see me in B-238 if you have any questions! We will communicate via text through the GroupMe app, so if you are not receiving messages from us by 9/4, PLEASE COME SEE NOLAN MILLER!! Our first event will be Homecoming Spirit Week Set-up!

ANNUAL PEACH FUZZ TOURNAMENT - TUESDAY, MAY 7TH
If you are interested in playing in the Annual Peach Fuzz Volleyball Tournament on Tuesday, May 7th, please fill out the Peach Fuzz Sign-up Form and submit it to Ms. Sullivan's room (B-238) by this Friday, May 3rd. You also need to have every member of your team sign the Peach Fuzz Behavior Contract Form to submit by Friday with your team sign-up sheet.
