We are excited that you are going to audition for the 2023-2024 Jeffco Honor Band or Orchestra! Please read all of this information and register for auditions through the Audition link above.

The audition link will be available on Monday, September 4th and will remain open for signing up and viewing until the day of Auditions. Walk ins are always welcome (dependent on eligibility). 

If selected, students are expected to:

1. Practice your music and be prepared for rehearsals. 

2. Attend both rehearsals (Jan. 10 and 12) for their entirety and the concert. 

3. Bring a pencil, water, & snacks to rehearsal. 

4. Concert dress is black bottoms and black tops.

Parents of selected students are expected to:

1. Encourage home practice and preparation for the rehearsals and concert. 

2. Provide transportation to and from rehearsals.

Students may not miss a rehearsal or a part of a rehearsal. Everyone needs to work together to achieve a great amount of work in a short amount of time. All students will be missing school for the Jan. 12 rehearsal. Therefore, in deciding whether you should audition, carefully consider your responsibilities. If you wish to audition, remember to register online. If you are selected, additional detailed information will be given to you. Please contact your teacher if you have any questions.
