Teacher Bio

  • Born in Denver, Colorado

  • Graduated from Pomona High School

  • Graduated from University of Colorado with Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Mass Communication

  • Worked in television news for 11 years as a production assistant, video editor, and story producer for News4 and 9News in Denver

  • Graduated from Regis University with a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies/Education degree

  • Taught English Language Arts and Video Production at Standley Lake from 1999-2003

  • Worked for a non-profit, 9Health Fair, as the Education Program Director from 2003 through 2007

  • Returned to teach English Language Arts at Standley Lake in January of 2008. Go Gators!
