AP CURVE IS USED FOR UNIT TESTS AND FINAL EXAM

UNIT TESTS: Unit tests will be a combination of AP type multiple choice and free response questions.
LABORATORY: Laboratory activities were data is to be collected will be done during class time. Often, the data will need to be analyzed outside of class time.
FINAL EXAM: A final test will come at the end of each semester. It will follow the same format as the unit tests except it will be cumulative over everything yet covered.
LATE WORK: It is imperative to stay caught up on classwork and homework. Falling behind makes learning new material virtually impossible. Jeffco Board policy allows two days of extra time for each day absent, however, all late work must be completed and turned in by the time the unit exam is taken.
CHEATING: Learning stops the moment cheating is entertained as an option. Don’t allow yourself to give up on learning. Learning AP Physics is hard, but it is not too hard.
Cheating has consequences! A zero will be given on each assignment or exam that has evidence of cheating. One incidence of cheating will prompt me to look at all assignments for cheating, and give zeros for each offense.
Examples:
Students grade their own free response exam questions, so giving yourself points which are clearly not warranted is cheating.
Searching for answers during an exam or using AI to come up with the answer is cheating.
Looking at someone else's work is cheating.
